Retirement book for Margaret Okafor, 65, who drove the number 38 bus through Leeds for 31 years. She knew every regular by name, kept barley sugars in her cardigan pocket for anyone having a bad day, once waited four minutes for a running pensioner in the snow, and never missed a shift except for her daughter Ada's graduation. Now she plans to take the same route one last time as a passenger, then finally learn to paint watercolours by the sea in Whitby.
